"Dubai chocolate" wind in Diyarbakır
In Diyarbakır, Hacıbaba Bakeries produce 500-600 bars of "Dubai chocolate" daily due to popular demand.

Consumption of Dubai chocolate, which has recently become popular in Türkiye, is increasing daily. Hacıbaba Bakeries Chairman Yılmaz Elaldı stated that even florists have begun selling Dubai chocolate. Elaldı noted that the pastry industry processes the raw materials for this product, saying, “We have the original ingredients. We also offer the chocolate, made with 100% Belgian chocolate, to the public.”
"Pistachios and shredded wheat are our main ingredients. We also have some products we use in our special recipes. Although we're just starting out, thank God we're trying to keep up," he said.

Production manager Sinan Turfan explained that the chocolate they use is pure Belgian chocolate, and the filling is made from the pistachios themselves. Turfan explained that the preparation and delivery of a Dubai chocolate bar takes an average of three to four hours, saying, “The first step is the initial shelling, which is then placed in the freezer. After resting, the filling is placed, and after the filling, the base layer is placed and placed in the freezer. It then rests in the freezer for approximately two hours, then it is removed from the molds and kept ready to be shipped to our branches.”
"If stored properly, we can easily say it has a shelf life of one month. There's a significant demand right now. Approximately 500-600 units are sold daily," he said.
