After Dubai chocolate, Dubai cake was released
A cake version of Dubai chocolate, which is popular in Türkiye, was made in Diyarbakır.
The R&D team at Hacıbaba Bakeries in Diyarbakır has begun making a cake version of Dubai chocolate, a popular choice in Türkiye. Hacıbaba Bakeries Chairman Yılmaz Elaldı stated that they have a strong research and development (R&D) team, and that they are pioneers in many desserts, leading them to undertake this initiative.
Explaining that they produce the Dubai chocolate cake, said, "It's both hygienic, organic, and well below the price. We made the Dubai cake with our usual slogan, 'the best at the cheapest.' And we can say it's the best and cheapest in Türkiye. Not only in Diyarbakır, but in Türkiye, there's no other establishment in our sector or branch that offers such a wide range of products under this name. Hacıbaba Bakeries are leading the way."
"We've been producing it for 10 days. Soon, we'll be producing only the Dubai cake, abandoning other cakes."
Elaldı emphasized that their core philosophy is production, saying, “Pistachios are one of our main ingredients. Chocolate is also a staple in our patisserie. Shredded wheat is a trademarked product unique to Diyarbakır. Inspired by these, I would have preferred Diyarbakır to be Dubai. The price for this cake number one is 550 lira. We're selling a product that should cost 800 lira for 550 lira. This is for promotional purposes. I'm betting you won't find anything cheaper or higher quality in Türkiye right now. We've been producing it for 10 days. Soon, we'll be producing only the Dubai cake, abandoning all other cakes.”
